Compare the US Capitol and Lincoln Memorial hand drawn stickers on size, finish, price, and meaning. Find out which DC souvenir sticker fits your laptop, bottle, or notebook.
Quick answer
Pick the US Capitol Hand Drawn Sticker if you want the more iconic legislative landmark and don't mind paying a little more; pick the Lincoln Memorial Hand Drawn Sticker if you want the lower price and a quieter, more contemplative design. Both are 4" x 2" matte stickers, so the real decision comes down to price and which DC landmark means more to you.
What actually differs between these two DC stickers
On the supplied catalog facts, the two stickers share the same 4" x 2" size and matte finish. That means they will sit similarly on a laptop lid, water bottle, or notebook cover, and neither has a glossier or more textured surface than the other.
The meaningful differences are the landmark depicted and the price. The Capitol sticker is listed at USD 2.88 against a USD 4.00 comparison price, while the Lincoln Memorial sticker is USD 2.44 against the same USD 4.00 comparison price. The Lincoln Memorial option is the cheaper of the two by a small margin.
The trade-off: symbolism versus savings
Choosing the Capitol means choosing the building most people associate with Congress and the legislative branch. If your DC souvenir collection is built around government and politics, that symbolism may be worth the extra cost.
Choosing the Lincoln Memorial means choosing a memorial rather than a working government building. It reads as more reflective and less institutional, and it costs less. If you are buying several stickers as gifts, that price gap adds up across a set.
Neither sticker is described in the catalog as waterproof, UV-resistant, or removable, so treat both as standard matte paper-style stickers until you check the listing. That is a limitation of the supplied facts, not a reason to avoid either one.
Where each design tends to work best
Because both are 4" x 2", they fit comfortably on a standard laptop lid or a wide water bottle without wrapping around the curve. On a narrow notebook spine or a small phone case, a 4-inch width may be too large, so measure first.
The matte finish keeps glare down on a laptop, which matters if you use the sticker on the lid you look at all day. The hand drawn style also means the two designs look like a matched pair if you use them together on the same bottle or notebook.
Decision rules for picking one
- If price is the deciding factor: Choose the Lincoln Memorial sticker at USD 2.44. It is the lower-priced of the two on the supplied catalog facts, and the size and finish are identical. Set a per-sticker budget before you choose; the gap matters most when you buy several.
- If the landmark's meaning is the deciding factor: Choose the US Capitol sticker at USD 2.88 if you want the legislative building, or the Lincoln Memorial sticker if you prefer a memorial. Both are 4" x 2" matte, so the design is the only visual difference.
- If you are placing it on a laptop or water bottle: Either sticker fits the same 4" x 2" footprint. Measure your laptop lid or bottle panel first; if the flat area is under 4 inches wide, neither sticker will sit without wrapping. Check the flat space, not the object's overall size, before ordering.
