Quick answer
For daily planning and desk use, choose a 5x7 inch notepad like the Capitol Building or Jasmine Crockett. For portability and quick notes, a 4x6 inch notepad like Harriet Tubman or Susan B. Anthony works better.
Size matters for your note-taking style
Notepads come in two common sizes at The Card Bureau: 4x6 inches and 5x7 inches. The right size depends on where you'll use it and what you'll write. A larger pad gives more space for detailed lists or meeting notes, while a smaller one fits easily in a bag or pocket.
Both sizes have 50 sheets, so the main difference is the writing area. If you tend to write long to-do lists or journal entries, the extra inch or two makes a difference. If you jot quick reminders or carry your notepad everywhere, the compact size wins.
Design and purpose go hand in hand
Each notepad also has a distinct theme that can influence how you use it. The Capitol Building notepad suits professional or civic-minded notes, while the Jasmine Crockett notepad adds a bold, assertive tone. Harriet Tubman and Susan B. Anthony notepads bring historical inspiration to your daily tasks.
Think about the message you want your notepad to send. A desk at work might call for the Capitol Building, while a personal journal could benefit from Harriet Tubman's quote. The design is more than decoration—it sets the mood for your writing.
